In the artist's studio, alchemical rituals are taking place. By reviving the drawing, the Master decides to perform a transformation. It is true that everyone cares only about their own immortality. When they reach it, they insolently disappear. In the end, some by-products are created. It is an image of transmutation translated into a surface, a line, and a dot.

"All the alchemical texts say that (...) matter placed in a philosophical egg, when boiled, starts changing colours in an amazing way. This proves the substantiation and the successful completion of the Deed. Colour changes reflect the changes in matter, caused by the spiritual factor: compost is black at first (nigredo), then it becomes white (albedo), later it turns yellow (citrinitas), and when it reaches perfection, it finally goes red (rubedo)."
